Foothills
Playhouse, a non-profit organization, was established in
1981 by a group of dedicated individuals. Known
originally as the Easley Community Theatre, they
produced four adult shows at Easley High School during
their debut season. Over the next 24 seasons it has
evolved into the Foothills Playhouse, has changed
locations from the high school to the Foothills Mall,
and finally in 1991 to West End Hall, where it still
resides, and has grown to six shows including youth
productions and drama classes. Through all of the
changes, our mission has remained the same: to provide
quality, live theatre for the entertainment, education,
and edification of our city, state, and region.
